Daily Itinerary
Day One
  • Board a deluxe motorcoach for transfer from LHR to the hotel with London panoramic tour en route.
  • We'll meet our local guide at the airport. In route into the centre, enjoy a panoramic London highlights tour during which we'll see all the major sights of both London's Old City and vibrant West End. Suitable for those visiting for the first time, or those just wishing to re-acquaint themselves with the Capital's charms, this tour is London in a nutshell! We'll drive past such famous sights as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, then along the river to the Tower of London. No interior visits are included in this tour, but photo stops will be made at appropriate points. Tour ends at the hotel for check-in.

Day Two

  • Enjoy a full day tour of London - A guide is provided for our full day sightseeing tour of all the major sights of London. In London's vibrant West End enjoy famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and Big Ben. We'll visit Westminster Abbey, an architectural masterpiece which has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and contains the tombs of many Kings and Queens. Then we'll move onto to the Old City of London. Although now largely commercial, the city is packed with history and noteworthy buildings. We'll visit St Paul's Cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Then our final visit of the day will be at the Tower of London, ancient London's most historic monument and home to the priceless Crown Jewels.
  • At the Tower of London visit the White, Bloody and Martin Towers, where prisoners were held and often tortured. Also see the Crown Jewels, displayed in a specially built jewel house, and don’t forget the Ravens, without whom the White Tower would supposedly fall, and a great disaster befall the monarchy!
  • Visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on London's South Bank. Tour the magnificent reconstruction of this 16th century theatre and see the award-wining exhibition telling the story of the original theatre and multi-million pound reconstruction.
  • Visit St. Paul's Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Britain. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and built between 1675 and 1710, this magnificent building was designed to reflect its importance as the capital's leading church. The church has recently undergone a multi-million pound restoration.

Day Three

  • Today we depart London and head to Folkestone where we catch the Eurotunnel to Calais. From there we continue to Paris.
  • Paris is a captivating city with bustling street life, cosmopolitan cafés and the some of the most spectacular buildings and monuments in Europe. The city exudes style and there is an exciting, romantic buzz in the air.
  • On arrival, we enjoy a short tour to familiarise ourselves with the city.
  • Enjoy a visit to Paris' most famous landmark. The Eiffel tower is 318 m high, including the television antenna at the very tip. We enjoy a trip up to the 2nd floor via the Elevator.
  • Dinner is arranged for you at a local Paris restaurant this evening.
  • Overnight at the Holiday Inn Express Paris Canal de la Villette

Day Four

  • The Fragonard Perfume museum, which opened in 1983, occupies a very lovely Napoleon III town house built in 1860 by Lesoufaché, a student of Garnier. The decoration is entirely of that period. Here you can discover a wonderful collection of perfumery objects that take you traveling through the ages.
  • Enjoy a visit to the Louvre, the most famous and prized museum in France. Constructed around 1200 as a fortress, and rebuilt around the mid-16th century as a royal palace, it became a public museum in 1793. The paintings, sculptures and artefacts on display have been assembled over the last 5 centuries, but undoubtedly the most famous is Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.Enjoy a fun-packed treasure hunt around the Louvre in Paris. Tantilising clues take you around the most famous exhibits in Paris' most famous museum. Follow the trail and see if you can answer the clues in the quickest time to win a prize!
  • Dinner is arranged for you at a local Paris restaurant this evening.

Day Five

  • Today we depart Paris and head across to Lucerne in Switzerland.

Day Six

  • Depart Switzerland and continue to Germany. Here we make a stop at Schloss Neuschwanstein, before we arrive in Munich.
  • We'll enjoy a visit to the magnificent hilltop castle of Neuschwanstein, began in 1869. It was the fairy tale castle of King Ludwig II who in fact only lived here for 170 days and today the marble and gilded interior confirms the impression of unreality created by Ludwig. It was the inspiration of Walt Disney's Castle in Disneyworld, and also starred in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
  • Big-city style and rural charm, Alpine character and Mediterranean verve, art treasures and the Oktoberfest, traditional customs and high technology, beer gardens and haute cuisine, operas and in bars – these are all ingredients of the special “Munich mix” that makes Bavaria’s state capital so endlessly fascinating, and so popular with visitors from all over the world.

Day Seven

  • This morning we depart Munich and drive to Venice. Venice is a legendary city. She chose the waters of the lagoon for her regal existence of more than a thousand years, the same water that has saved her from the clutches of time and yet threatens her very being. She is a city of a multitude of faces and moods - each visitor to Venice takes away a highly personal impression of the city's essence.

  • Continue to Florence this morning. Rich in history Florence is one of the most enticing cities in Italy. Its rich culture and architecture is evident in the beautiful cathedral - the Duomo, and also in the Uffizi Gallery, the Galleria dell'Accademia and the Ponte Veccio - a famous 14th century bridge.

Day Ten

  • We enjoy a half day city tour with a local guide. Admission to the Accademia Gallery is arranged.

Day Eleven

  • Drive to Rome this morning. Rome - the capital of the Roman Empire, the most powerful, largest and longest lasting empire of classical Western civilization. It 's hard to say what you'll find most breathtaking about the Eternal City - the arrogant opulence of the Vatican, the timelessness of the Forum, or the gory resonance of the Colosseum! This evening we enjoy a 3 course Italian dinner in a local restaurant.

Day Twelve
  • Continental Breakfast
  • We enjoy a half day city tour of Rome with a local guide. Visits to the Vatican museum & Sistene Chapel are included.
  • The Vatican Museums are one of the most famous and renowned cultural institutions of the Holy See. They are known everywhere because of the masterpieces which the Roman Pontiffs have commissioned, collected and preserved during the ages. Together with the immense heritage of movable works of art, sculptures and paintings, which are displayed in the galleries, the itineraries of the Vatican Museums include the most important and artistically significant rooms of the Vatican Apostolic Palace, such as the “Cappella Niccolina” with paintings by Beato Angelico, the “Appartamento Borgia” with decorations by Pinturicchio, the “Stanze” painted by Raphael and, of course, the Sistine Chapel with frescoes by Michelangelo as well as the most important 15th century masters from Umbria and Tuscany.
  • Admission to the Sistine Chapel is arranged.

Day Thirteen

  • Leave Rome this morning and head south to Pompeii.
  • Pompeii is a ruined Roman city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. It was destroyed, and completely buried, during a catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius on 24 August 79 AD. The volcano buried Pompeii under many meters of ash, and it was lost for 1,600 years before its accidental rediscovery in 1748. Since then, its excavation has provided an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire. Today, it is a main tourist attraction of Italy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Afterwards continue to Brindisi, where we catch the ferry to Corfu.
  • We catch the overnight ferry from Brindisi to Corfu.

  • Arrive in Corfu and spend the next two days at leisure.

  • We catch the ferry from Corfu to the Greek mainland, from where we continue to Athens.

Day Seventeen

  • Enjoy a half day tour of Athens including a visit to the Acropolis. The greatest and finest sanctuary of ancient Athens, dedicated primarily to its patron, the goddess Athena, dominates the centre of the modern city from the rocky crag known as the Acropolis. The Acropolis of the fifth century BC is the most accurate reflection of the splendour, power and wealth of Athens at its greatest peak, the golden age of Pericles.
